Evaluation:
Appropriate grade levels for this book would be Kindergarten through 2nd grade. I loved all the interesting information this book had. As an adult and university student, I didn’t know any of this information from these animals. The illustrations were very colorful, definitely very engaging for the age group of these students. The vocabulary was rich but also easy to understand. If I was teaching science and had one of these grades, I would definitely use this book as a fun read aloud after learning about these types of animals. This would be a great book to use after teaching after different types of animals and the different type of animal families, such as amphibians, reptiles, and birds.
