Appropriate grade level would be Preschool to 3rd grade.

I really enjoyed reading this book because it has a very powerful lesson, to learn how to love your natural hair or just yourself natural. The illustrations were beautiful and had the right balance of color. The colors in some pages were soothing and then it other they were vibrant. This book would be perfect to read aloud during “love yourself” awareness month. I would definitely have it in my classroom library because you just never know what student might one day need this book to learn how to love themselves as they are.
